Bulgarian Oak

This project is focused on the affection of the owners for oak solid wood on one hand and neat, Scandinavian design on the other. Being wine lovers themselves, the owners have often come across the question “French or American oak” but they decided to choose Bulgarian oak for their furniture.

Solid oak is, without a doubt, one of the tree varieties of highest quality that can be found in our country and it is characterized by endurance and a sense of coziness. The result is a simple yet stylish kitchen table with four unique chairs, and a coffee table with a small service table of the same style. There are also a couple of bar stools, specifically designed for the desire of the owners to play acoustic guitar and there is a bench with a comfortable leather cushion and a storage drawer by the door which is a perfect place for keys and bags once you enter through the front door.

This style is carried over into the bathroom as well where the solid oak surfaces, including the cupboard under the sink, the shelves for storage, and the door hiding the boiler are covered with a protective film to protect them from the damaging effects of the humidity. This part of the project is designed and completed thanks to architectural studio Cityscape (site.cityscape.bg).
